A Word in Season

I strolled past the decor shop, my stomach churned at the sight of plastic eggs and colourful tulips crammed in every corner of the store—a way to entice shoppers into this so-called Easter paradise I guess.
While I respect people's traditions and cultures, I'd like to jog our memories, especially believers of the Gospel to stay rooted to the reason behind this season. Jesus Christ - God who came in the body of a human to save you and I from our greatest enemy 'SIN'
This season reminds us of our journey from obscurity to freedom.
We've been washed clean by the blood of Jesus from shame and adopted as sons and daughters into the kingdom of God. It's time to drop the baggage of self-pity and the burdens of yesterday.
This is a season of rebirth. It is time to rise from the ashes and celebrate the new beginnings that await us. Christ paid the price. John 19:30
Enjoy the season.
