I’m Esther Samson

Dr. (HC) Esther Samson Ukaria is a visionary woman, who wears many hats. An Author, singer, strategist, coach, philanthropist, speaker, and entrepreneur guided by faith, excellence, and perseverance. Born and raised in the historic city of Kano State, Nigeria, Esther discovered early her passion for solving problems and helping people from all walks of life.

From helping individuals unlock their dreams and expand their ideas to offering life-changing strategies for manoeuvring personal and professional challenges, her impact spans continents. Today, she is recognized globally as a woman of inspiration, service, and purpose.

As the Founder of House of Mercy Network Foundation Nigeria, Esther leads humanitarian efforts focused on food security, education, and people empowerment. Her food box initiatives have reached vulnerable communities in Nigeria (Benue, Lagos, Kogi) and India providing critical support to the poor and elderly. In the town of Isanlu, the initiative Feeding the widows (2018- 2023) helped reduce elderly widow mortality rates, earning Esther an honorary doctorate in Humanities from Faith Fuller Seminary in affiliation with Evangel Christian University of America.

In partnership with Maranatha Revival Ministries (India), from 2018 to 2024, Esther supported children’s education and equipped widows with vocational skills. Through her initiative, EFD Academy, she delivers accessible training both online and offline on how to start sustainable businesses with minimal capital. She collaborates with fellow coaches to deliver a diverse workshop. At the EFD Academy we believe in excellence.

"In the coming years, Esther aims to continue the Birth Kit Project, which was launched in 2022, with the goal of providing 15 to 20 birth kits annually to pregnant women. This initiative is designed to improve maternal care and reduce the risk of infections during childbirth."

A storyteller at heart, Esther began writing at age nine and published her first book in collaboration with her professor by 2008/2009. Today, she is a multi-published author of over 10 books across contemporary fiction and Christian living. Her works reflect personal experiences, offering spiritual guidance and practical wisdom for navigating the storms of life.

As a certified personal development coach and keynote speaker, Esther speaks at global forums and leadership platforms, inspiring people to grow in purpose, faith, and strategy. She is also the Lead Evangelist at Lighthouse Outreach; a ministry committed to spreading the Gospel and restoring identity through Christ.

Her entrepreneurial pursuits include ESUK Variety Store an interior design online shop, which offers sustainable, locally made bed linens and duvets, merging elegant aesthetics with community empowerment.
