The greatest heroes often come to light from chaos and confusion; many of you have endured rough patches this past year. Yet, you've made it to 2025 with a refined sense of self, a renewed mind, a fresh pair of eyes, and gifts you never knew existed.
God raised superheroes such as Joshua, Gideon, Shamgar, Deborah, Ehud, and Othniel in the book of Judges. Though they appeared ordinary, His spirit was upon them. God strategically positioned these individuals to bring glory to His name and save those in despair. It is clear that God loves to partner with humans, but they must be willing. Reference the book of judges.
This mission burns in your heart, and you often envision it clearly. Don't hold back. Use the first two weeks of January to sit at God's feet and draft that final blueprint for your mission. Are you journeying alone or alongside other superheroes? What exactly do you need for this mission? A soldier may need to spy the land, find a good battalion, get some ammunition, bulletproof, night vision goggles, and gain more knowledge on security and defence machanism. Ask him for more direction. Remember, this is not a physical fight, but just like Daniel, you might need to study some scientific techniques or AI to go on this covert operation or learn intensively about people management and heighten your discernment.
I firmly believe many of you are God's superheroes this year. He kept you in the fire long enough to tear down strongholds of flesh, pride, idols of men, envy, low self-esteem, stony hearts, and some character traits that hindered activating the mission. It's time to take up the shield of faith, wear the shoes of the gospel, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, and above all, give way for the spirit of the Lord to come upon you. Reference Ephesians 6:14-16.
God never works alone—He partners with people. Today, God has chosen you from your mother's womb for a time like this; your calling extends beyond the pulpit.
In my following newsletter, I will share how to identify the tools for your mission.
Have a good week,
Esther
